Operator / Interpretation Training

Our practical approach to Operator and Data Interpretation training will get your staff up and running quickly. Data obtained in control valve testing must be turned into information before it is useful. Our products focus on the efficient collection of information in an industrial environment and our straight-forward, effective training gives your technicians the skills needed to apply the results. We offer complete training support, including the development and implementation of custom “Train the Trainer” programs.  Training can be conducted at our facility, on-site at your facility or over the internet.

Diagnostic Interpretation Support

Black Diamond Engineering is your 24/7/365 resource for data analysis and diagnostics interpretation.  This service provides affordable and timely access to experienced and knowledgeable diagnostics experts. Detailed, but understandable, analysis reports are provided that include both performance evaluation and recommendations for corrective action.  These reports, available in both electronic and printed formats, are ready for immediate presentation to your client or boss. Service is available on an hourly demand basis or as a part of an on-going customer service agreement.

Training Simulators / Custom Fixturing / 

Custom Test Development

A variety of control valve simulators are available for operator training, testing skill development and customer demonstrations. Rotary and linear platforms in single-acting and double-acting actuator configurations are available. Available positioners include: analog, HART, Foundation Fieldbus, and Profibus models. Each simulator can be adjusted to simulate up to twenty-five (25) discrete control valve malfunctions which in turn can be combined for multiple failure scenarios. We also have the design, engineering and manufacturing resources to solve your most demanding fixturing and valve attachment requirements. In addition, we offer custom valve test development, data translation and software integration to information management systems.  Challenge us.

Calibration and Preventative Maintenance

For accurate results and maximum equipment uptime, it is important that your BenchMark system be maintained properly and be certified to meet the requirements of your quality assurance program. We offer complete calibration, preventative maintenance and repair service for your BenchMark data acquistion system, Interconnect, Pressure and Displacement transducers. Our computerized calibration laboratory is equipped with top line calibration equipment, skilled technicians and custom control / tracking software to provide NIST traceable calibrations in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025:2005 and Mil-Std 45662.
